Women’s & Girl’s Rights Month

During August, Childline places a particular focus on the rights, safety and wellbeing of women and girls. Our awareness programmes address issues such as gender-based violence, abuse, exploitation and inequality, while empowering girls to understand their rights and speak up when they feel unsafe. We also work with families and communities to challenge behaviours and attitudes that place women and girls at risk.
